There are even those who live for football. Their days start and end with talk or something or the other related to this game. Football fans try to imitate their heroes and wear their shirts, name tags, budgets, collect their pictures or wear the same shoes as they do. Particularity those who play this game on any level ought to know the kind of shoes which are fit for this game.

People collect football cards for a lot of reasons. It could be because of its uniqueness. They could also update their knowledge about players and their scores. It could be for purely emotional reasons as a mark of love and respect for their most preferred player. Some crazy fans are ready to pay any amount of money to add new cards to their already existing collection. This could increase their standing among peers and friends. For some it is a matter of pride to have these possessions and show them off to their friends. It can be a topic of discussion at meal times or in social gatherings or even during casual meetings among a group of friends.

Mock Draft - A mock draft is an estimate of what players will go where before the draft actually takes place. This can be very useful to new fantasy football players. It will help you gauge who you will be able to take with your first few picks. However, fantasy football drafts are very unpredictable and a mock draft is an only an estimate of what could happen.

All players must go through this and it isn't about hitting the offense hard at all. It is all about creating a situation where all players can be successful at tackling the right way and learn the proper mechanics without worrying about anything else. I compare it to a lay-up drill in basketball. When players learn the right way to do something and repeat it then they start to develop a love of the game. When that happens they are ready to really learn and be taught.

Load a bag, clean it in any way you see fit; use the various handles, mixed grips or just grab the bag itself. Now, clean it to chest height. When I say clean it, I don't mean end up in one of those split-the-legs-8ft-apart kind of clean positions. No, I mean finish the clean in the good football position - just as you would be pre- block, tackle, jump, sprint.

One of the things that always bothered me about this drill was the fact you need to have 4 long dummys to use as landing pads. Well at about $100 each, that is $400, out of the reach of many youth programs. Lugging these dummies around is a big hassle as well. Then once on the field, you have just one landing pad for 25 kids. As most of you know I'm not a fan of having kids standing in long lines, so that means whenever we do splatter drills. It is only what a midfielder does part of a circuit, it is never a drill we want to do on it's own, even if we need it.

I have found that once the kids believe your threats, they will listen. I do not believe in making idol threats. Every youth football team I have ever coached has listened well because they understood the consequences if they did not. There is no reason to be dictator or run your team as a military unit, but you must maintain some kind of control over the team.
